How can we shake off the tired and confining versions of masculinity and manhood that are resulting in much suffering for ourselves, our communities, and our planet?
What might it look and feel like instead to cultivate a mature and life-serving manhood that arises from our authenticity, our full-spectrum potentials, and our experience of belonging to something greater, wilder, and more mythic? And to do this in brotherhood?
This group offering is for men who feel a call to explore the understory of their lives and the upcoming Men’s Pilgrimage in more depth, and then continue to metabolize and integrate the gifts and insights afterward.
The group is for you if you are ready to
Face challenges in your life while also building your internal strengths and capacities.
Explore rich and vital dimensions of manhood that aren’t normally promoted in mainstream culture.
Integrate personal development and deepening connection with the animate world.
Be inspired by other brothers, have mutual support on our paths, and build friendships and community.
The group will meet for two sessions before and two after the Pilgrimage. Each of the four sessions will include an intro to the week’s topic, along with experiential practices, and connection in the full group and smaller groups. In between sessions there will be varied invitations for personal exploration and wanders on the land, as well as optional partner check-in calls.
Any man attending the Pilgrimage is welcome, wherever you are on your path, and whether or not this is your first time in a men’s group.

Group Facilitator: Jerry Riverstone. I have been participating in and leading men’s groups and initiatory experiences for over 15 years. Along the way I have learned from many wise teachers, as well as from the twists, turns, highs and lows of my own soul journey. These days I am drawn toward Mystery through portals including soulcentric dreamwork, somatic imagination, bird language, and place-based ceremony. My aim as a guide and mentor is to honor each person’s emergent and unique gifts, potentials, wisdom and mythos as part of our shared evolution toward life-serving cultures.
