MISSION
Our over-arching mission is to raise earth-based, soul-centric culture, here, now through the maturation and initiation of all beings who hear the call.
The Women’s Village continues to be a gathering for the Rites of Women.
The Men’s Village is a gathering to reclaim the life-serving potential of manhood.
Family Camp is to share in the care of the young.
VISION
We acknowledge the destruction that colonial capitalist patriarchy is inflicting upon the planet.
We recognize that women are the foremothers of the future generations, inherently attuned to the rhythms and cycles of nature and cosmos, and we have a central role in reweaving the human ones back into harmony and right relationship with the whole of the Earth community.
We are nurturers, healers, hearth keepers, matriarchs, and grandmothers and we claim our sacred duty to protect and care for the innocent. Our voices have been silenced for far too long and we must stand up and speak out to create circles of safety and support for the most vulnerable amongst us.
We accept that change must begin with unearthing our medicine, our wisdom and our power as cultural midwives to bring a new way and a new world into being.
Now in our 3rd year, we recognize that in order to fulfill our mission of raising Life Giving culture we must weave our vision and work with the whole village which includes men and gender expansive beings. And, we strongly feel that in order to reclaim our wisdom pathways, we need to honor the healing, wholing and mysteries in dedicated spaces specific to women, men and gender expansive people. Only in this unearthing, shedding and remembering can we then come together and find our true, authentic places in the family of things.
We are weaving a braid of four strands by:
Remembering our place as humans in the great Web of Life to assume our sacred responsibility as stewards of the Earth and ancestors of the future ones.
Recentering the soul journey and the mysteries of women, men, and the soul beyond gender. Honoring the stages of learning and the journey of discovering our unique soul niche, we become resourced and empowered to hold our thread of the web of beautiful culture.
Acknowledging the context of these times and finding our place in the Great Turning. By coming together to voice our grief and rage, owning the ways we have been passive participants in the Dominator Culture, we can claim agency by resourcing our collective power for sacred action.
Creating culture based on the key values of kindness, reverence, self-responsibility, authenticity, courage, relationality, and reciprocity in which each person both gives and receives in love and belonging that generates true community.
2026 Focus Areas and Evolutions
To weave women of the global majority deeper into the village.
To invite boys to the Men’s Village.
To hold the blood Rites of Maiden, Mother and Crone.
To hold individual initiation rites.
To establish a Family Camp for mothers and fathers to share in the care of the young.
To raise Fae Temple to honor the place of the nonbinary experience and perspective.
Core Weavers
Forest and Village was initiated through the passion and vision of Jonah Roberts (Raven) and Katherine Allen (KaDi) in 2024. These two brought in a strong team of women, many of whom had been part of 13 Moons, Raven and KaDi’s yearlong soul journey and sacred leadership training. They ‘saw’ the blueprint of this gathering as already in existence and have been in service to the vision since. Many women share in the desire to raise beauty culture and have joined the Village Keeper team to bring their sacred gifts to feed and weave into the village. It has been a profound forge of sisterhood and growth for all who participate.
Soon after the first gathering in 2024 Kimberly Wattendorf (Northstar) and Heather Stickney joined KaDi and Raven as Core Weavers. This core team raised the 2025 gathering and has continued to meet throughout the winter of 2026 feeding the mycelium beneath the forest floor and laying deeper foundations of the village. They are ecstatically listening and tending this creation–their prayer, their vision and their passion making visible what is hidden as a gift for the people.

Thank you for paying it forward!!!
Racial Equity & Inclusion Fund
In our third year of deepening our vision, Forest and Village is honored to launch a 5k Matching Gift Campaign in support of our new Racial Equity & Inclusion Fund. Thanks to a truly loving and generous donor among us, every contribution made to the fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to 5k. We are so grateful and excited to share about this.
This is specifically a racial equity fund created to support the leadership, participation, and attendance of Black, Indigenous, Latina, Asian American, Pacific Islander and all women of the global majority whose voices, lived experiences, and wisdom are essential to how we move forward together. The intention of this fund is to take tangible steps toward greater racial equity within the Forest and Village community by helping to create more meaningful access, representation, and shared leadership within our summer gathering.
Contributions to this fund will help reduce barriers to participation— including financial and logistical access for historically oppressed identities. We want to honor the time, contributions, leadership, and presence of all cultures whom are invited to share their wisdom and gifts within our gathering.
We believe that building racially equitable and inclusive spaces benefits everyone in our village by strengthening the depth, resilience, and wholeness of our collective experience. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to Seeding Regenerative Culture ~ taking tangible steps toward the kind of community and future we want to cultivate together.
We invite you to support this effort in whatever way feels possible for you. Whether or not you are attending this summer, your gift directly helps expand access and brings co-creation of vision alive.
Will you join us?
When you register, you will find an option to contribute to the Racial Equity & Inclusion Fund. You can also contribute directly through Venmo at @Forest-and-Village (please put Racial Equity Fund in the comment). If you want to contribute by check, please contact villagekeepers@forestandvillage.org. Remember that no amount is too small because every single dollar given will be doubled through this matching campaign.
Thank you for helping us grow a community rooted in belonging, equity, and shared participation.
